Shadow Duel - A duel with high stakes, Reward - Winner Steals one card from there opponent and gets 5XP

All duel should be done in Match Mode

After finally finishing his work in the real world, Cage breathes a sigh of relief when he lays down on his bed starting up his nerve-gear.

He emerges into the town square. Looking around he surveys the area taking in as much information about the game as possible. Though he was familiar to the game of Dueling Art Online he still found himself wanting to learn more about the game and where his was. Walking around the town he locates a local pub (or cafe if you prefer) and enters inquiring about about the game from npcs and players who may be present. He wanted to know places of interest and how to find information on players.


(So far after reading the tower and the fields seem to be the main areas of interest. New to this game format my character as with many rpgs wants to see the npcs for any and all information available at the time.)

Heads out into the fields having little luck obtaining any information. Opens up the dueling que and awaits for anyone to play against in a friendly duel. Depending on his paticience he may accept a shadow duel. Cage realised the only way to progress is to actually duel rather than to waste time searching and seeking information at this stage of the game.

Tenebris looks around his new surroundings, blinking rapidly in a daze.

"Where...What just happened?"

It seems Tenebris has been transported to a new location. Checking around him, he notices Cage Torrent not standing too far away from his own position.

"Ah, Cage, it is nice to see you finally. Shall we catch up with current events while we duel?"

"What just happened?" Uriel said, getting up and dusting himself. The last thing he remembered was a bright light appearing during the duel between Susuke and Tenebris. When he got up, he noticed he was on another, totally different, part of the fields, close to the entrance of the tower." How convenient. All i need now is to get 5 EXP and the final step of Project SOPHIA will begin." he said with a smirk.

"Sounds good to me" Cage exclaimed as he rose his duel disk. "Lets see what you got!"

"That was a good duel, Cage. Would you like to team up as we venture through these fields? Some of these duelists are remarkably tough, and I'd like having a friend backing me up."

"Sounds good to me, safety in numbers afterall" Cage says as he joins Tenebris "where to first?" Cage looked around the fields looking for more opponents and eager to progress in the game.

Cage suddenly spots someone in the fields there in. "hey there! You up for a duel!?"

"Oh?" Uriel turned to face the one who challenged him "Why, of course. I was in dire need of a diversion.". A bright light appeared in front of him as his Halo Duel Table appeared before him. "Well then, shall we begin?"

* Challenges Cage to a normal duel

Tenebris looks on as his traveling partner begins his battle.

"Well then. This should be fun to watch."

"chalk up another loss for me" cage mutters. "I just cant get any luck here"

"You fought well, Mr. Torrent. You'll surely do well in this game, especially once Project SOPHIA is finished." Uriel said to cage with a smile. " I hope you enjoy your stay at DAO."
