Naturia Stun

So I've been testing this deck out and it's been doing quite well. The main problems I run into are monster effects. With the current format, there is a large abundance of decks out there that easily gets a key card off the field (namely, Bamboo Shoot or one of the Naturia Synchros". Another problem, while not as serious, is the relative ease of getting a card with high ATK off of nothing but monster effects as well. Half the time, I'll have a Fruitfly, Burden of the Mighty, or Safe Zone ready but this still remains an issue at times.

As you can probably tell, this main focus of this deck is eliminating the opponent's Spells and Traps and keeping the monsters at bay. I run King Tiger Wanghu because at late game, he almost ensures the victory should the strategy be in place. But again, monster effects remain an issue.

Any advice on improving this deck?

There are lots of ways to play with a naturia deck, there is no set forumla, some people like other cards better than others, for your build I would:

+ SIDEDECK!
+Double Summon (in my opinion this is what brings the deck together)
+ Seal of Orichalcos
+ Lance
+ Another safezone
+ darkbribe (protects safezone)
+ ? starlight road (just a thought - don't want you backrow too crowded

Side:
Burden
Wanghu
Fossil Dyna

You will have to play around with the deck a bit, obviously you wont be able to fit all those cards into a 40 card deck.

I run mine with the plant engine, tech in Ryko and Charge for the mills which can either be used with Mark of the Rose (the spell you probably won't recognise) or hopefully you mill the Spore or Dandylion. I was thinking of Call of the Haunted, but there really was not enough space. My side deck is pretty diverse and has something for every deck.

Interesting. How could I forget Lance?! That card would be great in this deck, deals with Cyber Dragon and the like out for my Bamboo Shoot.

I was thinking about adding another Safe Zone but I was worried that it would be drawn at the wrong time and cost me the match. I'll test it and side the fiendish chain. Honestly, I'm not too worried about protecting Safe Zone; Bamboo Shoot usually does that for me and the monsters that have S/T destruction effects I usually stop with Effect Veiler or Divine Wrath.

Definitely siding Wanghu now. That card becomes a dead draw the majority of the time. I'll put in two Double Summons and see how that works out.

Orichalcos is definitely an interesting spin, one I didn't think about. I'll test it and see if it works.

You copied your deck from a site -_-'. The two are similar but mine's more focused on locking down Spell/Trap and weakening the monsters as much as possible and negating their effects.

thats how mine is too.... except i dont focus on stopping effects as much
